Joshua Rook started his career in production at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. There he worked his way up from a security position, to a lighting designer. Through this he acquired the knowledge needed to begin his career by working under the house lighting designer, Stephen Cramer. Josh would spend any free time he had programming and watching countless videos on the topic of stage lighting. He learned the ins and outs of the live industry through various avenues in the Boston music network. To be a well rounded candidate, and to increase his experience in the music industry, Josh worked every position he could. This included stagehand work, production running, and lighting technician gigs. He would eventually meet Connor Ostrowski through a mutual friend, Teisha James, who would put him on his first tour with Chris Renzema. Joshua is currently based in Nashville and joined Pulse Lighting as a lighting technician, as well as a touring lighting director with various artists.
