Originally from seacoast New Hampshire, Cy got his start in the music industry as a photographer and band manager. The band he managed wanted to “up their show experience”, so he suggested adding a lighting package, inadvertently launching his career as a lighting designer. Moving from an eight-channel DMX fader board to a grandMA2, he quickly became proficient with the software. In 2017, he obtained his first house lighting gig at the infamous Stone Church in Newmarket, NH. The venue served as his laboratory for experimenting with all sorts of lighting techniques. From lighting solo singer-songwriters to jam bands and everything in between, his ability to adapt the to the music became his greatest asset.
Cy joined Pulse as a touring contractor in 2019. He moved to the Nashville area in early 2024 to become a full-time team member. You can see his current work out on the road with the band moe.
