My Morning Jacket

Client Since 2018

As one of the most beloved rock groups on the scene today, My Morning Jacket has transcended genres— and probably the universal consciousness— with a reverb-drenched waterfall of sound, spacey psychedelic jams, and guitar play ranging from fiery to folky to atmospheric. The band's no-repeat setlists draw from three decades of originals and an ever-expanding selection of covers showcasing the breadth of their influences— Black Sabbath, Radiohead, and Erykah Badu, to name a few. Any given night, you may witness dueling guitars, acoustic ballads, or frontman Jim James dancing across the stage while playing electronic arpeggios on a Suzuki Omnichord. For a band with this much versatility and intrigue, only the coolest, most innovative design will do.

Since 2019, Pulse has joined forces with Lighting Designer Marc Janowitz of E26 Design to transport the Jacket audience to new dimensions. Janowitz brings visions to life that would likely never occur to another human being. He works closely with Pulse co-founder Paul Hoffman to source the equipment he needs to create these otherworldly visual spaces. GLP KNV Dot fixtures create constellations in the sky. Robe MegaPointe beams bounce off half mirror balls set upstage, dazzling the audience with starbursts. Any given night, it's a sensory wonderland.
